1. Informational purpose only
Content on this platform — including specifications, equations, calculators, test descriptions, manufacturer and market data — is published for general information and education. It is not a substitute for professional engineering judgement, a manufacturer's datasheet, a standards document, or the advice of a qualified person who has examined your application.
No content on this platform should be read as an instruction to install, modify, charge, discharge, transport or dispose of a battery in a particular way.
"Content" in this disclaimer means everything published on this platform and its sub-sites: editorial articles, comparison tables, glossary and reference entries, calculators and tools, compiled datasets, manufacturer and market information, and any figure, range or label attached to them. The same limits apply to all of it, whatever the format.
2. No engineering, purchasing or professional advice
We do not provide engineering, design, installation, maintenance, transport or purchasing advice, and nothing on this platform creates a professional relationship of any kind. Calculators and worked examples are illustrative models: they use simplified assumptions and are not a substitute for a design review, a load study, a protection study or a compliance assessment for your installation.

3. Safety
Batteries store energy and can cause injury, fire, chemical burns or property damage if mishandled. Lithium batteries can enter thermal runaway; lead-acid batteries contain sulphuric acid and can release hydrogen. See our Safety & Liability Notice for the full position.
The manufacturer's documentation governs. Where anything published on this platform appears to conflict with the battery manufacturer's instructions, a standards document or your jurisdiction's regulations, the manufacturer's instructions and the regulations prevail.
Descriptions of hazards, handling and disposal on this platform are general. They do not replace the safety data sheet (SDS), the battery's own labelling, the transport documents required for shipping hazardous goods (for example UN 3480/3481 for lithium batteries, or UN 2794/2800 for lead-acid), or the training required of anyone who handles these products.
4. Accuracy, completeness and change
We research content from public sources and cross-check factual claims, as described in our Methodology. Even so, battery technology, product lines, standards and regulations change continuously, and figures published by third parties can be revised, superseded or withdrawn. We give no warranty that any content is accurate, complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, and we may change, correct or withdraw content at any time.
Where figures are uncertain, ranges, approximations or confidence labels are used rather than single-value precision. Values presented without a source or a confidence label should be treated as indicative only.
Third-party data — manufacturer specifications, market figures, prices, lead times, certifications and regulatory requirements — is compiled from the sources stated. We do not warrant that a third party has kept a specification current, that a listed certification remains valid, or that a quoted price or lead time is still available at the time you read it. A page's review date records our last check, not the third party's.
Where a page is stale or a figure is provisional, we say so on the page rather than presenting it as current. If you notice a discrepancy, report it through the editorial correction route.

8. Governing law and severability
This disclaimer, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with it or with your use of this platform, is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This is consistent with the Terms of Use, which contains the full governing-law and dispute-resolution position.
If any provision of this disclaimer is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalidity of one provision does not affect the validity of the others.
