My read: The RV battery decision is a usage-frequency decision — weekenders should buy AGM, full-timers and serious boondockers should buy LiFePO4 — and the mistake to avoid is putting either one in the wrong of the RV's two battery jobs.
Why I think so: Lithium's premium pays back only through deep, frequent cycling; occasional use never recovers it. Match the battery to the duty — deep-cycle in the house, starting on the chassis — and the two systems last as designed.
